The Monster Mortise and Tenon Set is used to make ¾” and 1” mortise and tenons using our standard templates. These big bits and bearings are useful for tables, big doors and the like.

The Amana® Monster bits are made with straight carbide knives brazed on to a tool steel head and shank. The cutting depth of these bits is 2”.

The Ultra-Shear® monster bits feature a solid 1” long carbide cutting head with 2 slow spiral flutes producing a clean shearing cut for large mortises and excellent dust extraction compared to standard straight carbide tipped router bits. The cutting depth of these bits is 2-1/2”.

The full set includes the a 35mm and 48mm guide bearing and two bits, ¾” and 1” for mortising. If you already have the ¾” and 1” bits, the Monster Guide Bearings are available separately.
