The Big Blue Bit is a ½” diameter, 1½” cut length, solid carbide, 3-flute, variable-helix, spiral upcut bit. Big Blue is coated with AlTiSi nanocomposite for enhanced life and smooth, cool operation. The geometry of the variable helix and three-flutes is quiet and not “grabby” like aggressive spiral upcut bits tend to be. This bit is a real pleasure to use!
