DANISH CORD LOUNGE CHAIR

Project Description:

Andrew T. sent us photos of his Danish Cord Lounge Chair. Andrew told us, “I used the PantoRouter for all joinery minus where the armrest attaches to the front legs, I used dowels there. The PantoRouter was crucial in helping me make accurate mortise and tenons on these complex angled and curved pieces.”

The chair showcases some especially clever joinery, including the method Andrew used to join to the curved surfaces. The PantoRouter made it possible to cut accurate mortises at an angle, while straight tenons with angled shoulders created strong, precise joints.

Andrew used Lots and Lots of Danish Cord and the end result is gorgeous and we’re guessing very comfortable as well. Beautiful work, and Thank You for sharing, Andrew!
